BMW Group is hiring a Maintenance Planner for RRMC Goodwood, UK, a full time onsite role to coordinate planning, analyse data and implement long term fixes that optimise uptime and ensure SAP Preventative Maintenance standards. You’ll manage the maintenance consumables budget, drive investment across 35 plus service contracts, and specify equipment that meets health and safety rules and Group Standards. You’ll lead Shutdown planning, be the go to for Planners and support functions, and represent the department in Planning Circle and equipment acceptance meetings. Key requirements include a systematic, accurate approach with awareness of business impact; a four year apprenticeship with HNC or NVQ L3 plus two years in a technical role ideally Production Automation; strong SAP Maintenance and Logistics and Microstation skills; German desirable. To coordinate and implement specialist planning activities to resolve technical issues within the technologies. The role is to optimise equipment, following data analysis and plan/implement long term solutions to ensure uptime. To also ensure the technology is operating to the required technical standards and performance – this will also encompass the creation, management and all associated administration of the Preventative Maintenance System within SAP.
