You’ll engineer prompt fault resolution, record breakdowns, and work with safety and warranty processes. Essential: NVQ 3 in electrical or equivalent, a related technical apprenticeship, and ideally automotive manufacturing experience plus basic mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with PSS and SAP data is a plus, as is prior production maintenance work. As the Maintenance Technician your main responsibilities will include ensuring the effective technical use of a variety of maintenance principles ensuring the efficiency and technical availability of the facility is continuously maintained. You will also provide hands on technical support to resolve any quality, efficiency and complex problems. You will be responsible for demonstrating competence in fault finding on Electrical systems, interrogate electrical schematics and cable references.
