Webasto is looking for a Maintenance Technician Electrical (f/m/x) for full-time on-site in Utting, Germany, to join a cross-functional, international team in Production & Operations. You will be the contact for production issues, perform fault analysis and repairs, create and maintain maintenance plans, support new system setups, and program PLC controls (S7), robots (ABB, FANUC, Kuka) and PC test stands (Visual Basic, LabVIEW). Ideal candidates have a technical training in control technology, energy systems, or mechatronics, several years of automotive maintenance experience, and hands on PLC/robot programming plus E plan, SAP PM, and MS Office; be willing to rotate shifts, including weekends; strong teamwork and safety mindset. Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks: 

  • Contact person for production in case of problems in manufacturing
  • Fault analysis / troubleshooting and resolution as well as ensuring constant technical system availability
  • Creation of maintenance plans and their complete documentation as well as independent maintenance and repair of manufacturing and production systems
  • Assistance in the setup of new systems and modifications as well as continuous improvement of machines, tools, systems, and processes
  • Programming of PLC controls (S7), robots (FANUK/ABB/Kuka), and PC-controlled test stands (Visual Basic, LabView)

 

This is what you bring to us:

  • Successfully completed training as a control technician, energy systems electrician, mechatronics technician with additional qualifications or similar.
  • Several years of practical professional experience, preferably in maintenance within the automotive industry.
  • Willingness to work in shifts (rotating shifts and weekend work).
  • Experience in PLC, PC, and robot programming (ABB, FANUC, Kuka) as well as experience in E-plan processing.
  • Teamwork skills, high commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness.
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP-PM/EBP.
  • Knowledge in occupational safety as well as basic mechanical knowledge (pneumatics, machine elements).
