The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Lifestyle Options - Whitemud team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will perform a wide range of building, equipment, and facility maintenance tasks under the direction of the senior maintenance technicians.
What you’ll do:
- Inspect, clean, and maintain building systems and equipment to ensure safe operations.
- Perform minor repairs, diagnose issues, and carry out preventive maintenance on facilities and machinery.
- Maintain accurate records and monitor inventory levels to support daily operations.
- Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and equipment to complete maintenance tasks.
- Operate groundskeeping equipment and maintain outdoor property areas.
- Respond to maintenance inquiries from staff and residents.
- High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (required).
- Strong written and verbal English skills to communicate with all levels in the organization.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills; able to work independently and under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
