Mana Ake Kaimahi at He Waka Tapu is a permanent part-time role (32 hours per week) onsite in Christchurch E9, supporting tamariki in years 1–8 and their whānau within school communities through a Kaupapa Māori framework covering Tinana, Wairua, Hinengaro and Whānau. The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 qualification or equivalent experience in health, social services or education, plus the ability to network with mental health services and external providers and advocate for whaiora. About the role
Mana Ake – Stronger for Tomorrow initiative aims to work with and through school communities to support whānau/families when tamariki/children from years one to eight that are experiencing ongoing challenges that are impacting their wellbeing.
We are looking for an individual who has experience in working in community settings and preferably schools.
This position is a permanent part-time position, 32 hours per week.
