Etihad Engineering is seeking a Manager Aircraft Fleet Appearance to lead all paint hangar activities for narrow and wide body aircraft, manage livery changes and ensure a high end quality product while complying with Quality, Safety and Airworthiness directives. The ideal candidate has a Degree or Diploma in aviation, at least 10 years in aircraft maintenance paint with 5 years in a supervisory role, experience in wide body hangar operations, and formal basic aircraft paint training or equivalent, plus company approval or higher. Purpose
Responsible for all Paint hangar activities, narrow body and wide body paint inputs, livery changes and other assigned duties to ensure a high end quality product.
Accountabilities
- Is responsible for the completion of full aircraft paint inputs with relation to Quality Safety and Airworthiness directives.
- To manage all paint hangar staff activities to ensure the highest standard of work and EYE high expectations are met.
- Develop, write and implement Paint shop procedures
- Responsible for Health Safety Environment (HSE) procedures and practices.
- Continuous Cost control improvements, product and man power/ resource planning.
- Ensures full utilization of paint hangars available labour and resources to achieve planned operational targets
- Manage department performance reviews and perform continuation training for Paint hangar staff to maximize potential, increase productivity and high end product standards
Education & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in aviation field with background in aircraft interior/exterior painting.
- Paintshop hangar Management/supervisory background wide body aircraft.
- Formal basic aircraft maintenance paint training or equivalent.
- Hold company approval or higher.
- Minimum 10 years of Aircraft Maintenance paint experience in interior/exterior.
- Minimum 5 years in a Management/supervisory role.
