Job Purpose:

Lead the strategic identification, cultivation, and management of key partnerships to drive credit card usage, enhance customer value propositions, expand instalment program offerings, and support digital engagement. Accountable for portfolio profitability, revenue generation, expense management, balance sheet growth, campaign execution, and rewards program management with partners.


Principal Accountabilities:


Strategic Partnership Development: Establish and grow relationships with diverse merchants (retail, e-commerce, travel, etc.) to deliver exclusive credit card benefits, rewards, and instalment options.

Campaign Management: Design and implement data-driven marketing strategies with partners to boost card usage, acquire new accounts, and improve retention.

Instalment Program Oversight: Lead the development and monitoring of partner instalment programs, ensuring compliance and optimal customer experience.

Negotiation & Contract Management: Direct partnership negotiations and contract management to secure mutually beneficial and profitable agreements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Legal, Digital, Technology, and Compliance teams to align partnership objectives with business goals.

Performance Analysis: Track partnership performance against KPIs, analyse data for improvement opportunities, and report to senior management.

Market Insight & Innovation: Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to maintain and grow P&L through partner relationships.

Regulatory & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audit processes.

Customer Engagement: Collaborate with client engagement and product teams to address customer complaints and enhance satisfaction.

Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with Credit, Operations, and Risk teams to implement credit strategy and risk management.

Communication & Training: Ensure all channels are informed and trained on product, process, and system updates.

Deliver High Engagement: Drive customer engagement across partners and business channels.

Recommends changes to card programs, fees, charges, and product or partner-specific promotions.

Supports decisions on value propositions, key offerings, and portfolio growth strategies.

Financial authority is delegated as per the approved bank delegation matrix.

Requirements

Education and Experience:


University graduate with 5+ years in business development and/or partnership management.

Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance or data sciences (or equivalent).

Data analytics certification and decision management experience are advantageous.

Strong knowledge of online and digital marketing tools and best practices.

Banking or financial services experience is beneficial.

Proven track record in sourcing, managing, and negotiating partnerships.

Self-starter, adaptable to ambiguity and fast-paced environments.

Strong project management and financial analysis skills.

Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English
