Etihad Airways seeks a Manager Cabin Interiors to lead development and benchmarking of aircraft interior products, aligning design strategy with commercial and operational goals. This onsite role in Abu Dhabi requires a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design and at least 5 years in aviation or related interior design, with a portfolio in product specifications, standards, benchmarking, and supplier evaluation. You will document specs, benchmark across the fleet and competitors, create infographic presentations, monitor performance, support scalable manufacturability, and drive durability and guest facing enhancements. Job Description

Synopsis:

Develop cabin interior products and research supporting the interior design strategy. Establish benchmarking presentations and market trends identifying opportunities to optimize customer satisfaction in balance with commercial and operational goals.

Accountabilities:

• Document and implement product specifications and standards.
• Benchmark interior products across fleet and competitive landscape, communicating infographic presentations to depict an intuitive story.
• Create effective presentations, research industry trends, and conduct competitor analysis to support department objectives and strategy.
• Inspect and monitor product performance, ensuring products maintain target standards, supporting service teams to identify issues and improvements.
• Support product development process for scalable manufacturability to ensure high standards are upheld consistently.
• Facilitate increased in-service durability while improving aesthetics and guest facing features.
• Assist RFP evaluations supporting vendor recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Aeronautical and/or Mechanical engineering and/or Industrial Design
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation, aviation, design, or engineering relevant to aircraft interior design.
