AD Ports Group is hiring a Manager, Financial Modelling in Abu Dhabi, full-time onsite, to drive business performance through forecasting and analytics for international projects. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in ports, logistics or maritime, Chartered Accountant or Engineer with an MBA in Finance, and a proven ability to build robust financial models, coordinate cross-functional inputs, validate assumptions, and prepare business plan slides for Investment Committee approvals. You will develop evaluation templates, support fundraising, and manage project level audit trails. Strong Excel and data visualization skills, an agile mindset, and the ability to lead without authority across functions are essential. English required; Arabic/French a plus. Drive business performance throughout the organization through development of forecasting and analytic capabilities
Core Responsibilities:
Own, develop and lead the role to create financial models for international projects and investments.
Co-ordinate for all inputs required to prepare the financial model with respective workstreams
Provide cross-functional support in clarifying, validating and understanding implications of assumptions on business/financial model
Prepare “business plan” slides in co-ordination with cross-functional teams that would then be submitted to the Investment Committee for approval
Develop process templates to establish and ascertain evaluation criteria for every project in the pipeline. In the long term, standardization of template would be required based on nature of opportunity
Support Senior Management team with matters related to investment evaluation
Support fund raising and investment structure
Own, lead and or support the submission of the investment proposals to the Investment Committee and its approval.
Manage audit trail at a project level.
People Management Responsibilities:
Responsible for obtaining all information required for developing the business case and finance model from all functions and external consultants.
Required to lead without authority across functions and Clusters.
May need to provide training to extended International Office team as per job requirements/ changes.
