The role may supervise utilization coordinators and requires travel province-wide. Requirements include 3–5 years of leadership in health care, including 3 years in acute care and 2 years in bed utilization or process management, a relevant degree, active licensure, LEADS experience, and willingness to work days, evenings and weekends. Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. Under the direction of the Director of Provincial Patient Flow, the Manager of Provincial Patient Flow will oversee and coordinate Patient Flow across the Health System as an integral member of the Manitoba Patient Flow Structure.
This position will work closely with regional utilization teams, medical and clinical leaders at sites, VECTRS, and the Director of Provincial Patient Flow to identify operational business needs and opportunities that support provincial integration to improve flow and access across all regions and Service Delivery Organizations (SDO’s).
