Job Description

As a Manager in KordaMentha’s Major Projects Advisory Team, you will get the opportunity to work on significant government and private sector programs and projects. The Major Projects Advisory Team works across the entire program and project lifecycle, from strategic planning and inception of projects, through procurement, delivery and benefits realisation upon project/program completion.

As a team, we bring multi-sector experience across transport, health and aged care, utilities, real estate and social infrastructure, city-shaping and private projects (such as precinct development, aviation, and mining), and future-focused projects and industries (including renewables and defence). We value the clients we work with and put a significant amount of effort to ensure our work is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Versatile Execution: Demonstrate a hands-on approach to tasks, from creating business cases to running strategic workshops to taking detailed minutes.
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage and guide clients through change, including leading and facilitating workshops.
• Team Leadership: Oversee and manage small teams to ensure successful delivery of consulting engagements.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years’ experience in project, program, or operational delivery roles within a professional or corporate environment
• Tertiary qualification in business, finance, engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proven experience leading projects or workstreams end-to-end, including planning, governance, and successful delivery of outcomes
• Strong project and program management capability, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives and drive delivery in complex environments
• Ability to identify risks, issues and interdependencies, and provide strategic recommendations to support decision-making
• Demonstrated stakeholder leadership experience, including influencing senior stakeholders and facilitating complex workshops or forums
• Confident and credible communicator, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, challenge and build trust across diverse stakeholder groups
