Job Description

At KPMG Australia, our Mid-Market & Private – Advisory team specialises in helping clients unlock tangible value—from strategy through to execution. Within this, the Management Consulting team partners with clients to deliver impactful business change, project delivery, and operational transformation.

Your Opportunity  

As a Manager in our Management Consulting team, you will lead client engagements that deliver strategic, operational, and organisational improvements. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to solve complex business challenges, design future-ready operating models, and implement change that drives measurable value. This role combines delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and people development in a dynamic consulting environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver consulting style engagements to create positive outcomes to our mid-market clients across a range of industries.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and identify new opportunities to provide value to our clients.
• Apply structured problem-solving and data-driven insights to create actionable recommendations.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Work closely with senior leaders across the firm to support business development activities.
• Supporting and managing engagement pursuits such as opportunity identification, qualification, and planning.
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to drive improved client outcomes, efficiency, and innovation

• Strongly preferred experience in management consulting or advisory roles, with proven project leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to apply structured thinking and analysis techniques to ambiguous problems
• Strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of operating model design, organisational change, and transformation delivery. Business process improvement, business case development, operational improvement, cost optimisation -(evolve)
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills
• Current Australian work rights.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Economics, or related field; postgraduate qualifications desirable.
