Your main tasks:
- Plans, budgets, and secures staffing for the project/program managers in their scope of responsibility
- Monitors their team’s progress and ensures compliance with standards and procedures
- Holds the project/program managers accountable to ensure they execute their plans on-time, on-cost, and on-quality
- Monitors the efficiency of project/program management methodologies and tools and suggests improvements; by evaluating and reporting on the progress of all projects
- Resolves conflicts and effectively manages escalation topics
- Clearly communicates roles, expectations, and accountabilities to their team members on a regular basis
- Promotes and develops best practices in program/project management
- Develops leadership qualities in people and maintains a robust succession plan pipeline
Your ideal profile:
- Generally, requires Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters’ with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent
- Formal project or program management education. PgMP or PMP certification are a plus
- Automotive Industry experience is preferred
- Experience in managing teams executing projects or programs
- Experience including evaluation of projects, programs, and business cases
