The US Consumer Services (USCS) group is responsible for growing our consumer business worldwide, strengthening our global leadership position in the premium and travel space, and delivering exceptional, differentiated customer experiences.

Within USCS’ Travel & Lifestyle (TLS) team, the Global Lounge Experiences team is a high impact group, responsible for the strategic definition and delivery of the Global Lounge Collection benefit to Amex’s global premium Card Members.  The Global Lounge Collection benefit encompasses the Centurion Lounge network and access to network lounges through partnerships (i.e., Delta, Priority Pass) and oversees management of Centurion NY, Amex’s first city lounge in NYC. 

The Global Lounge Collection Engagement team drives Card Member growth and engagement for the Lounge benefit which includes airport and non-airport lounges.  This Senior Manager will play a key role in strengthening the Lounge value proposition, benefit delivery and customer experience through the growth and optimization of our lounge digital products. This team member will work closely with cross-functional partners to develop a robust lounge digital strategy to ensure we are delivering a cohesive and optimal digital experience that drives product KPIs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead lounge digital strategy planning to grow and evolve internal and customer-facing digital products (TheCenturionLounge.com, LoungeFinder digital hub, Digital Waitlist and our proprietary in-lounge B2B platform, LoungeOS) to deliver on key business goals
  • Manage and optimize the content strategy and Card Member journey across digital channels to ensure seamless benefit delivery across 1,550+ lounges and optimizing for new lounge openings/concepts
  • Partner closely with Lounge Digital Services, Lounge Product & Partner teams, Lounge Marketing Strategy, Business Development, Lounge Operations, and GCO/LOBCO on product optimization strategies and lounge expansions to ensure implementation, brand messaging consistency and global compliance
  • Oversee B2B digital product strategy (LoungeOS) to deliver an enhanced in-lounge and check-in experience to support our frontline teams. Partner with Lounge Digital Services and Centurion Lounge Operations team on go-to market planning, training and change management
  • Analyze lounge metrics to drive decision-making for go-forward digital lounge strategy
  • Inspire a strong, close-knit team culture by managing team engagement, providing leadership and development opportunities, and fostering cross-team collaboration
  • People management and career development responsibilities for 1 direct report

Qualifications:

  • MBA or BA with 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing strategies and digital product management
  • Strategic thought leader with strong project management skills and a track record of working in white space to create structure, develop customer-first strategies and bring them to market
  • Experience and knowledge of partnering with digital product teams and how digital marketing execution works across the Blue Box
  • Self-starter with the proven ability to define novel digital strategies to advance innovation agenda
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive results across large cross-functional teams and senior leaders
  • Superb organizational skills and ability to manage many projects and moving pieces at once
  • Ability to take initiative and be comfortable with less defined and rapidly changing business challenges
  • Strong people leadership skills and ability to lead high performing teams

Minimum Qualifications

 

Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250 annually + bonus + benefits
