Job Description

Lead the delivery of long term technical projects/programs to ensure objectives are met according to plan, schedule, and budget to meet business objectives.

Accountabilities

  • Analyse operational, customer and business performance data to identify trends, risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop actionable recommendations to support business performance and operational excellence. 
  • Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards and performance insights to support effective decision making. 
  • Maintain oversight of a portfolio of operations and customer-related projects, ensuring progress, risks, issues and dependencies are effectively monitored and managed.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and support the delivery of sustainable change. 
  • Lead selected cross-functional projects end-to-end, from problem identification and analysis through planning, governance, delivery and benefits realisation.
  • Support the development of business cases and cost-benefit assessments to evaluate proposed initiatives and investment opportunities. 
  • Establish and maintain appropriate project governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement frameworks for assigned initiatives.
  • Communicate key insights, project updates, risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support timely decision making. 
  • Monitor project and portfolio performance to ensure milestones, deliverables and objectives are achieved in line with agreed expectations. 
  • Support the implementation of change initiatives to ensure successful adoption and realisation of intended outcomes. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project governance, reporting standards and business improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree or anything above (i.e. vocational certificate / Bachelor Degree / Master degree)
  • Project management qualification (e.g. PMP, APM, or PMI membership) or proven knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile Project Management) is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in relevant field of which 3 years in a managerial position, preferably in airline operations.
