Synopsis
The Manager Sales – Joint Ventures is responsible for maximizing revenue generation from Etihad Airways’ joint ventures. This role will also lead traversal projects to develop Etihad’s commercial infrastructure that enable joint venture sales.
Accountabilites :
- Lead transversal projects to enable and optimize the commercial infrastructure that supports joint venture sales, including but not limited to tooling, contracting, and organization.
- Maintain structured reporting tools and dashboards to provide consistent visibility on JV performance, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare and lead sales working groups and other strategic meetings with joint venture partners, ensuring clear agendas, aligned objectives, and actionable outcomes that drive revenue growth.
- Monitor and analyse performance across global accounts and JV partnerships, leveraging internal data and market intelligence (e.g., PRISM, DDS) to identify opportunities to improve revenue quality.
- Track and evaluate KPIs for JV trunk routes and distribution channels, highlighting trends, gaps, and optimisation opportunities.
- Support the development and delivery of incentive models, route-level reviews, business cases, and corrective action plans to maximise revenue and JV value within distribution and cost of sale frameworks.
- Advise Regional Sales teams, Business Development Managers, and stakeholders on performance improvement actions, ensuring recommendations are commercially sound and data-driven.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales Partnership Management, Revenue Management, Alliances, IT and Sales Enablement) to align on performance targets, reporting requirements, and joint commercial initiatives.
- Ensure all performance monitoring and commercial activities comply with ATI governance frameworks and JV regulatory agreements.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in airline partnerships, revenue management, and/or global sales.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret and synthesise performance data into actionable insights.
- Experience managing joint ventures or strategic partnerships, preferably across international markets, is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of airline commercial and revenue functions.
- Strong team player with high cultural awareness and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Advanced Excel and data modelling skills, with strong numerical proficiency, are required.
