Job Description

The incumbent contributes to the development and optimization of Air Transat’s flight schedule in the short to medium term (45-day window and beyond), including codeshare agreements, while ensuring operational feasibility and schedule integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design of seasonal flight schedule (summer and winter) in collaboration with the Network Development teams
  • Update and maintain flight schedules in a scheduling tool (e.g., NetLine)
  • Coordinate schedule adjustments and ensure their communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Plan and manage updates to codeshare and interline schedule
  • Ensure the management and optimization of airport slots in accordance with IATA standards and local regulations
  • Collaborate closely with operations teams to integrate operational constraints (aircraft, crew, maintenance, airport)
  • Validate operational feasibility and optimize short-term scheduling (rotations, block times, connections, overall performance)
  • Adjust planning in response to operational disruptions (delays, AOG, maintenance)

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree in air transport management, logistics, business administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the airline industry (planning, scheduling or airline operations)
  • Strong ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment
  • Autonomy, initiative, and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Strong ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Good knowledge of airline operational systems and analytical tools
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and comfort with collaborative digital tools and AI (e.g., Copilot)
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) *

Good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders in Quebec and internationally.
