du is seeking a Manager Solutions Consultant (Enterprise) to lead connectivity engagements for Datamena and hyperscalers onsite in Dubai. The role blends presales with architecture, scoping requirements, designing end-to-end networks including DWDM/OTN, MPLS, LAN/WAN, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, and SASE, and guiding RFP and non-RFP proposals to drive revenue and enhance the customer experience. You will own solution strategy, partner and vendor engagements, and mentoring deployment teams. Requirements include a degree in computer science or networking, 10+ years in enterprise connectivity, global managed services experience, and familiarity with hyperscalers. CCIE, MBA or PMP are advantages. KKKey Accountabilities

  • Advanced Connectivity
    • Proactively & reactively scoping the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customer to meet and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company.
    • Responsible for technical architecture engagements with key partners, vendors, and stakeholders
    • Provide advanced connectivity solutions to customers via RFP or non-RFP. 
    • Responsible to develop and Implement Ideas to Enhance Customer Experience and/or Business Growth 

 

  • Datamena & Hyperscalers
    • Responsible to design bespoke network solutions for datamena and du customers
    • Solution/Architecture (design) for Major datamena and related initiatives
    • Datamena platform architecture, oversight and high-level design, to ensure we have capability and capacity for continued growth
    • Lead technical discussions with customers, partners, and internal eitc stakeholders, in order to build and deliver bespoke solutions to support revenue generation

 

  • Other Accountabilities 
    • Lead the solutions & proposal development process
    • Bridge the gap between technology and business. 
    • Conducting Customers Consultancy and advisory
    • Attends Technical discussion meetings to gather the required information for the Technical Design Specification creation and to make sure that the client requirements are correctly addressed in the provided solution
    • Provides Product, Service Delivery and Transition & Transformation peer reviews and support the Complex Solution Managers
    • Guides technical implementation team on the approach and technical functions during the project deployment

 

4.  Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Networking, or related IT field

     

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar capacity in a competitive solution role.
  • Knowledge in designing DWDM, OTN and fixed communication solutions. 
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols and enterprise communication services such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
  • Experience in designing voice, data, 5G, M2M communication solutions. 
  • Hands-on experience with MPLS, SDWAN and SASE solutions. 
  • Industry, region and Local UAE knowledge
  • Proven track record of implementing advanced connectivity solutions within an enterprise or a service provider.
  • Proven track record of Global managed services experience. 
  • Experience of dealing with Hyper scalars & large key accounts. 
  • Solution and Service Strategy and Design capabilities.
  • Evidence of good business acumen.
  • Extensive experience in designing and positioning international connectivity solutions along with related activities and controls.
  • Familiar with submarine cable systems, international POP, and carrier interconnection models. 
  • Knowledge of international peering, transit, and cloud exchange connectivity models. 
  • MBA/PMP certification is an advantage. 
  • CCIE certification is an advantage.
