Requirements: 8 to 10 years in aerospace or MRO logistics, a related bachelor’s, strong leadership, ERP experience, and excellent English; tailor your resume to highlight regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and measurable results such as cycle count gains and on time deliveries.


 

JOB PURPOSE

To oversee and manage all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining accuracy, safety, and cost control in alignment with logistics objectives. Responsible for all Warehousing activities to support maintenance of aircraft fleets in Etihad Airways Engineering and ensure that all related material transactions in the Warehouse are processed without any delays and in accordance with company procedures and statutory regulatory requirements of EASA/ GCAA/ FAA/ DGCA.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

The Manager Warehouse is responsible for the operations of the material receiving, inspection, storage, quarantine, release and dispatch. Specifically, it is the responsibility of Manager Warehouse to: 

  • Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper stock reconciliation.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse processes, SOPs, and performance standards.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and material handling processes.
  • Monitor and control warehouse costs, including labor, equipment, and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure dangerous goods are properly handled as per applicable rules and regulations.
  • Ensure the preservation of all articles or parts, while carried in inventory, including parts that are subject to deterioration and shelf-life specifications. 
  • Ensure that non-conforming articles are properly quarantined and parts that have been designated as scrap are appropriately disposition. 
  • Fully support Hangar, Shops, Line and Light by ensuring timely preloading, issue and delivery of parts without any delays
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff; manage performance and productivity.
  • Oversee warehouse systems (AMOS & Oracle) and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

 

Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications are advantageous.

     

  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally in an MRO or aerospace/technical environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and manage teams, motivating them to achieve targets and drive improvement.
  • Good computer presentation and reporting skills essential
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle and AMOS) are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements within logistics operations.
  • Knowledge and experience in Continuous Improvement are advantageous.
  • High proficiency in English/Business correspondence required.
