Mercedes AMG HPP is offering a full-time on-site Manufacturing Scheduling Placement in Brixworth, putting you at the heart of Formula 1 engineering with hands-on exposure to production control, scheduling and supply chain management. You’ll manage production orders, prioritise workloads, secure material availability and supplier commitments, use Excel to track progress and SAP to maintain inventory, and collaborate across Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Programme Management and Procurement to keep programmes on track. The ideal candidate is organised, analytical, resilient and people minded, on track for a 2.1 degree or above with basic Excel skills; SAP is a bonus. The package includes £29,000 salary, 36 days leave and a generous pension.
As a Manufacturing Scheduling Placement student, you’ll see first-hand the breadth of engineering within Formula 1. This role is central to ensuring designs move from concept to finished parts in world-leading timescales. You’ll gain exposure to supply chain management, production control, and reporting - supporting the decisions that keep programmes on track. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring deadlines are met and that the manufacturing team operates efficiently.
