Merck Group is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 3rd shift at MilliporeSigma in Sheboygan Falls, WI, onsite. Your Role:

In this role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervises operations within a facility to achieve effective and efficient output, ensuring compliance with, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Organizes the daily operation, communicates well, and removes obstacles to achieve results.
  • Supports in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires
  • Manage and drive the training and educational process and procedures for production team.
  • Conducts employee reviews for staff performance per company guidelines and support employee development to ensure individual and company objectives are addressed.
  • Review safety procedures, operational procedures, and work instructions, ensuring they can be executed safely, and they are up to date.
  • Reports safety and quality events, assist in root cause analysis and sustainable resolution.
  • Leads or participates in the Emergency Response Team activities. Complete the training requirements to be able to support the team in an emergency response event, in an incident command role or other roles required for safe and effective hazard mitigation.
  • Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Shift/Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 10pm-630am.

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of chemical manufacturing operations or R&D experience.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • 1+ year of experience with ISO, GMP, and industry-specific quality requirements.
  • 1+ year of experience with safety, environmental, and equipment maintenance regulations.

 

Pay Range for this position: $87600/yr - $131,900/yr.
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
