Crédit Agricole CIB is offering a 12 month VIE in Dubai for a Market Activity Monitoring Analyst to join the Risk and Capital Markets team in Market Activity Monitoring and Credit Monitoring & Reporting. You will validate P&L perimeters, monitor market data and risk indicators, backtest VAR, disseminate P&L and market risk reports to Head Office, review deals for off market activity, and assist in regulatory deliverables with UAE authorities. The role also requires maintaining procedures and cross training with Head Office and supporting Market Risk Committees. Eligible candidates are EU citizens under 28 with a Master’s degree; mention VIE eligibility in English. Key skills: Capital Markets knowledge, MS Office, VBA desirable, fluent English and French, strong communication.

You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Dubaï as a Market Activity Monitoring (MAM) & Credit Monitoring & Report (CMR) Analyst within Risk/Capital Markets team
You will report to Local Country Risk Officer and Head of Treasury & ALM MAM in Paris.
Your concrete missions will be the following :
- Market Activity Monitoring (MAM) :
- Check of the validity of the perimeter on which the P&L will be computed i.e to ensure that the stock has been validated by the Back-Office and reconciled with that of the Front Office and that the market data utilized for valuation are reflecting market movement
- Product, control and analyse P&L figures and market risk limits utilization
- Product VAR and back testing of VAR and other risk indicators (correlation, etc.), stress scenarios
- Disseminate all elements of P&L and market risk report (including limit breaches) to Head-Office Market Risk Manager, Consolidation Department based in Paris and all relevant business lines at Head-Office
- Review of deals of the day in order to identify possible off market deals and perform investigation on deals that are picked up as suspicious during the process
- Ensure with the MAM Head Office that the local production is fully operational remotely and cross training is up to date
- Ensure that the internal and operational procedure are up to date and reviewed by Head-Office MAM
- Assist in the preparation for Market Risk Committees.
- Assist in all regulatory requirements.
- Credit Monitoring & Reporting (CMR) :
- Reconcile the client internal ratings and highlight to the Risks business line, Front office and for any variance seen in the same ;
- Prepare and finalize various reports sent to regulatory authorities (including UAE Central Bank, Al Etihad Credit Bureau and Dubai Financial Services Aut) and to CACIB Gulf management and CRO (including Portfolio reports on monthly basis) ;
- Prepare and update the various schedules including Overdue reviews, discrepant & pending documents and doubtful debts ;
- Attend to requests from coverage teams for client Credit Bureau reports and Central Bank Risk Bureau data for clients ;
- Keep safe all facility documents in custody of RPC CMR under dual control with proper maintenance of record of all documents held and maintain online access to electronic versions of documents held ;
To be eligible for a VIE :
- Be less than 28 years
- Be graduated of Master Degree
- Be EU citizens
