Marketing and Communications (M&C) develop, manage and implement marketing and communications strategies and activities (including advertising) across all Griffith University audiences including prospective and current students, staff, alumni, donors and corporate partners.
As the Marketing and Communications Manager, Research, you will provide expert marketing and communications advice and hands-on delivery across Griffith’s research portfolio, supporting research reputation and rankings, HDR recruitment, and major research initiatives, including significant funding bids.
This role combines strategic judgement with practical delivery. You will be trusted to shape, execute and optimise marketing and communications initiatives, working collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing and Communications, and in close partnership with senior research stakeholders.
Partnering closely with the Office for Research, the Griffith Graduate Research School, and research centres and institutes, you will bring clarity and momentum to a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, translating research priorities into effective, evidence-based marketing and communications outcomes.

This is a continuing position based at either our Brisbane South (Nathan) or Gold Coast campus. As a multi-campus university, you may be required to work across locations.
Salary Range
The full‑time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 7: $101,068 – $109,496 p.a. + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be $118,249 – $128,110 per annum.
The occupant of this position will hold tertiary qualifications and relevant subsequent experience.
