About The Role:
​​The Marketing Manager will play a critical role in developing, managing, and implementing strategic marketing plans to promote several clean transportation programs administered by CALSTART. This position requires strong marketing acumen, excellent project management abilities, superior communication skills, and an interest in sustainable transportation solutions.  The Marketing Manager will report to the Deputy Director of Marketing and work cross-functionally across teams to achieve programmatic and organizational goals.

What You'll Do:

  • ​​Campaign Execution: Develop, plan, manage, and execute multiple campaigns in support of CALSTART’s programs.  
  • Audience Research: Conduct audience and market research to identify optimal channels for reaching and engaging target audience segments  
  • Content Creation: Create and draft engaging content, including copy and initial design concepts for collateral, emails, social media, digital advertising, websites, and more.  
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. ​ 

What You'll Bring:

  • ​​5-7 years of professional marketing experience in B2B marketing   
  • Quick learner with the ability to distill complex programs into easily understood concepts for diverse audiences.   
  • Self-starter with a creative mindset to develop innovative marketing solutions for business challenges.   
  • Strong project management and communication skills with a proven track record of fostering consensus and leading cross-functional initiatives.   
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills; adept at managing multiple workflows, prioritizing deadlines, and overseeing budgets.   
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Monday.com, MailChimp, Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Marketing Cloud.   
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.   
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and clean transportation solutions. ​
