Your Role

 

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for providing expert analysis and insights based on master data representing all products within the Life Science portfolio at MilliporeSigma. This role partners with data governance and project teams to identify, track, analyze, and visualize key data, ensuring information is actionable and aligned with business objectives. The Master Data Analyst leverages ERP systems and advanced reporting tools to develop interactive dashboards, support data-driven decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in data quality, reporting processes, and business outcomes. Responsibilities include the following:

 

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and other data visualization tools to support business decision-making
  • Leverage data analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Palantir, AERA, BOXI) to deliver insights, trends, and data-driven recommendations
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and dashboards, identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance data delivery and usability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical data findings into actionable insights through clear, impactful charts and visual reports
  • Support ongoing data analysis for data management and technical transfer and NPI launches
  • Support data analysis and other requirements for specific projects, as needed

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and 5+ years’ experience in a scientific role

OR

  • 10+ years’ work experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Extensive experience with major ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and related reporting tools (Business Objects)
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analytics platforms, including Tableau and Power BI
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data visualization)
  • Ability to design clear, intuitive dashboards and reports for varied audiences
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement, process optimization, and adoption of new analytics technologies
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance data management and reporting efficiency
  • Creative thinker with excellent problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Effective team collaborator with strong interpersonal skills

Salary Range for this position - $82,000.00 - $123,000.00 / annually 

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
