Bosch is offering a six month master thesis in Concept Design of High Power Dense & Highly Integrated Robot eDrives with a focus on Alternative Torque Sensing, based in Bühl. You will break down torque sensing requirements at system and subsystem levels, conduct market analyses, develop and refine a concept with suitable torque sensors, and create a clear decision matrix. In the PoC phase you will design one or two favored concepts, realistically estimate development effort and costs, and prepare persuasive proposals for the next steps. Ideal candidates are Master’s students in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Robotics with strong grades, MATLAB/Simulink, CAD, and basic requirements engineering knowledge, plus enthusiasm for robotics; fluency in English and very good German required.
