TE Connectivity seeks a Materials Planning Support III in Witham, a 12 month onsite role reporting to the Site Material Planning Manager. You will plan and schedule material flow, set order quantities and dates from forecasts, raise manufacturing orders and purchase requisitions, and build production schedules to hit shipping dates while controlling inventory. You will partner with Manufacturing, Logistics and Procurement to support S&OP. Requirements: at least 1 year planning experience, 5 GCSEs, ERP and MS Office; SAP preferred. This position reports to the Site Material Planning Manager. At TE Connectivity, the Materials Planning Team are responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle. The planning team determine quantity and order date for materials to meet production or engineering schedules, initiate purchase or production requisitions compliant with supply agreements, and develop the schedule to be used in the production facility based on forecasts and historical analysis.
The Planner will be responsible for creating manufacturing and material supply plans which achieve customer satisfaction and cost objectives. He or she will be fully responsible for the delivery performance of its products, as well as the control of the related inventory. Working in conjunction with other members of the Planning team, and closely with other departments such as Manufacturing, logistics and Procurement Teams, this role supports Sales and Operations Planning processes.
The Materials Planning Support role will be on a 12-month fixed term position.
