Webasto is hiring a ME Technician Process Technologies in Detroit for a full‑time on‑site role supporting production processes in a cross‑functional, international team. Expect Tuesday through Friday nights, 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM with overtime. You will set up equipment and tooling, monitor performance, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, review schedules, ensure process readiness, and drive corrective actions while upholding IATF and customer standards and pursuing continuous improvement. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, 2+ years as a Process Technician, knowledge of high‑pressure RIM equipment and milling, plus basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills. Production & Operations focuses on designing, managing, and improving production processes and business operations, as well as manufacturing technologies and supply chains. The role involves working with modern systems such as SAP and dashboards, some of which are self-programmed. This is a cross-functional and international environment that offers performance-driven, diverse challenges and exciting projects.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks

• Tuesday - Friday 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM.  Overtime required.
• Set up equipment, materials, and tooling to support production requirements and quality standards
• Monitor equipment performance, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting activities
• Review production schedules and coordinate process readiness for scheduled run
• Monitor process performance and implement corrective actions to maintain production efficiency
• Maintain compliance with IATF standards, customer requirements, and company procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts

This is what you bring to us

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of Process Technician experience supporting manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of high-pressure RIM equipment, milling processes, and manufacturing troubleshooting
• Basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and maintain quality standards
