Bloomberg Media Studios in Dubai seeks an Executive Editor to build and lead a world class MEA creative studio, partnering with clients to craft innovative content solutions across video, design, and digital platforms while expanding the studio’s regional presence. You’ll manage a mix of full time staff and freelancers, develop data driven concepts, and maintain Bloomberg’s global voice with regional nuance, working closely with sales, strategy and data science to win business. Ideal candidates have 8-10 years in concept driven copywriting and video storytelling, strong editorial judgment, proven client and vendor relationships in MEA, and comfort with new tech including AI. We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Editor to join the team. You'll be a proven creative leader who can work closely with clients to develop and present creative content solutions, help lead a creative team with high-level video and design capabilities, leverage relationships to build creative partnerships in the Middle East and Africa, and create buzz in the region about Bloomberg Media Studios and our work for clients.
The Executive Editor will help lead a creative studio that includes full-time staff with design and video leads. The Executive Editor will augment that team with a talented and diverse group of freelancers and vendors that can contribute to ideation as well as execution of projects. The Middle East & Africa Studio will serve many different markets, and the Executive Editor is responsible for developing relationships with on-the-ground talent in each and every market.
The Executive Editor ensures that Bloomberg Media Studios content solutions fulfills our brand position of thought leadership powered by proprietary data. The Middle East & Africa Executive Editor connects regularly with the Global Creative Head and the Global Executive Editor to share best practices and ensure that Bloomberg Media Studios maintains a consistent global voice while understanding the unique qualities of the Middle East & Africa region.
The Executive Editor will also have strong relationships with sales, strategy and data science leadership and will work collaboratively with these teams in client presentations and developing new business.
