Job Description

  • Assist mechanical technicians in installation, maintenance, and repair work; support fitting, welding, piping, and equipment alignment activities.
  • Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris and hazardous materials.
  • Handle and organize Mechanical tools, materials, and equipment on-site.
  • Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and bending conduit and trays.
  • Ensure the proper use and care of personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety standards and guidelines.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and identifying issues related to Mechanical systems and tray installations.
  • Load and unload materials and tools at construction sites as needed.
  • Help with securing cable tray covers and maintaining organized systems for cable management.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and work closely with the team to complete tasks on time .

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a similar role, preferably in oil and gas construction projects.
  •  Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and materials; familiarity with cable tray installation.
  •  Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow instructions to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with electricians, supervisors, and other crew members.
  • High school  or relevant technical training is preferred.

  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
  • Will be required to work on high platforms or confined spaces, adhering strictly to safety standards.
  • May be required to work overtime or extended shifts based on project deadlines.
