Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree with an advanced qualification, 2+ years of scientific or clinical experience, prior MSL or regional liaison exposure preferred, and excellent English communication. Purpose
Reporting to the Medical Manager, Medical Affairs, you will be responsible for increasing brand awareness through scientific exchange of safety and efficacy data on behalf of the Medical Affairs Department, establishing professional relationships with various agreed upon internal and external stakeholders in Australia.
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will engage in the exchange of scientific data and sharing of clinical information on a peer-to-peer basis with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs). You are responsible for providing balanced and objective scientific information and education to healthcare customers and to internal business partners as required by the needs of the business. Externally, the role will be informed via insights on scientific trends and competition within the therapeutic area and you will work to develop and deliver the customer experience and enhance relationships with Key Thought Leaders (KTLs) through multi-channel engagement and customer preference.
In addition, you will remain up to date with scientific trends, knowledge and the competitor activity, whilst maintaining relationships with KTLs. You will be responsible for ensuring company’s compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and laws as well as providing medical expertise on patient/drug safety and medical topics.
