ENGIE is seeking a G1 MEP Technician for a full‑time on site role in Abu Dhabi supervising preventive and reactive maintenance across pumps, motors, panel boards, HVAC units, chillers and BMS systems. The successful candidate will oversee routine checks of AHUs, mechanical pumps and motors, exhaust fans and plumbing, monitor outsourced contractors and issue permits, delegate MEP tasks, and provide reports to management. A strong QHSE mindset is essential, including safe work practices and prompt incident reporting. Requirements include ITI or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics, solid computer skills, and the ability to work under pressure and unsupervised. Job Purpose:

Supervising of all PPM & Reactive works

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate operation and corrective maintenance services for pumps, motors, panel boards, HVACunits, chillers, BMS, etc.
  • Supervise routine checkup and troubleshooting of air handling unit, mechanical pump/ motor,exhaust fan motors and plumbing.
  • Monitor performance of outsourced companies and approve issuance of permits to contractors.
  • Delegate and coordinate MEP tasks to subordinates to ensure completion of all MEP works at site.
  • Provide report to management on daily/weekly/monthly issues for improved services and to ensurethe correct services are delivered.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and assist other team members in different work disciplines as required in order to meet all work assignments.
