Bombardier is seeking a Methods Agent in Avionic Functional Test Control at Dorval Plant 3. Ideal candidates hold a college degree in aircraft maintenance with five years in aviation, possess strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, and demonstrate responsibility and judgment. What are your contributions to the team?

  • Participate actively in solving problems related to mechanical systems (troubleshooting).
  • Write functional test procedures for various mechanical systems and identify the tools required to execute.
  • Review and incorporation of engineering requirements.  
  • Plan and implement changes in production.
  • Support and optimize daily production operations.
  • You will also have to investigate the technical issues and find solutions for the aircraft from preflight until delivery to the customer.
  • You will answer the technical questions of Methods, Quality and Production departments.  

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have a college degree in aircraft maintenance with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in aviation.
  • Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems is essential.
  • You must have a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, initiative and a good technical judgment.
  • You must be able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Bilingualism and strong organizational and communication skills are also essential.
  • You have a strong customer focus.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Macpac, Quicksilver is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Challenger products is an important asset.
