The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team is seeking a Metro Construction EHS Manager with the passion to drive value across complex supplier relationships and demonstrated experience in supplier management. Strong analytical skills, using data to design processes that scale, effective collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, and the drive to continuously improve and achieve business objectives will be critical to success in this role. The span and complexity of our activities requires advanced knowledge and technical specialization in construction and design safety management to recognize and control risks.
This is a highly influential position reporting to the Regional Director, Construction and Design Safety. Position location is in Middlemer, Netherlands and will be a site-based role supporting construction and lease projects in this metro.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant professional experience and/or industry certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience in safety, environmental health and safety, or related roles, with demonstrated experience managing a broad range of risks across multiple sites, including operations within The Netherlands or other European locations.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable regulatory and industry safety standards relevant to construction and operational activities in The Netherlands.
Experience implementing health and safety programs in construction environments, aligned with global standards and local regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a construction EHS Professional such as IOSH or BCSP
Demonstrated experience and success with delivering cross functional programs, including ownership, and driving results.
Experience in Mission Critical project delivery and large civil / Building projects.

Environmental Health & Safety IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Netherlands is € 65,100.00 - € 129,500.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
