We have a 2-year fixed term opportunity for a Principal - Metro Source, Treatment and Recovery to lead asset investment planning for our metro Perth water portfolios. These include planning for Perth's Integrated Water Supply Scheme (water source and water quality) - including recycled water and alternative water supply schemes. The role will be based in our Leederville office and will report to the Manager - Assets Metro Source Treatment & Recovery.

Your skills and experience
We’re seeking an experienced water professional with a degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline, along with relevant demonstrated expertise in the field(s) of water source and treatment planning, wastewater treatment and recycling, alternative water, and/or water efficiency. Given the requirement to utilise your skills across the breadth of metro planning, you will be a highly motivated and adaptive team member, who has willing to learn and bring your stakeholders along the journey with you.
This senior role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of water services in WA through the development of innovative solutions and contribution to sector wide strategic planning. You'll be confident influencing senior leadership, engaging with external regulators, and building trust with local community groups, ensuring alignment between technical outcomes and community expectations.
