In this role you will collaborate with Federated Data team for data sourcing, and share Federated Data Infrastructure (Airflow) for MLOps needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design and maintain pipelines for model training, evaluation, deployment, and rollback
  • Implement versioning and promotion workflows for models
  • Ensure reproducibility across training and inference runs

Production Readiness

  • Build and maintain inference infrastructure and deployment workflows
  • Ensure models meet latency, availability, and scalability requirements
  • Partner with Agentic Orchestration team on API reliability and integration patterns

Observability & Monitoring

  • Implement monitoring for model performance, latency, errors, and cost
  • Detect and alert on regressions, drift, and operational failures
Provide tooling for debugging production model behavior

Platform Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Applied ML Engineer to support experimentation needs
  • Report to DevOps in regard to shared infrastructure and security standards

Governance & Safety

  • Implement access controls, auditability, and safe deployment practices
  • Support compliance, data handling, and rollback requirements as needed

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • Strong background in DevOps or platform engineering
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure
  • Familiarity with ML workflows, even if not a model builder
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines and observability systems
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments

Nice to Have

  • Designing or tuning models
  • Data science or statistical analysis expertise
  • Owning core cloud platform infrastructure alone
