MOHS Histotechnician with USF Dermatology at Tampa General Hospital is a full-time on-site role in Tampa, FL, at 17 Davis Medical Building with a Monday through Friday day shift. Under general supervision you will prepare quality tissue specimens for microscopic examination and perform standard and nonstandard histology tests and stains. Required: Associate Degree in Science, Florida or Compact State licensure as a Clinical Lab Technologist. Knowledge of CLIA standards, proficiency testing, QA and QC, and medical terminology, plus the ability to process slides quickly to meet surgeon or pathologist deadlines. · Prepare and keep laboratory up to CLIA Standards.
