Join Our Team as a Sports Field Mower Operator!

We are on the lookout for a reliable and skilled Sports Field Mower Operator to help maintain and enhance the quality of Auckland sports fields. As part of our team, you will be responsible for operating a Ride-On Mower to keep sports turf pristine, ensuring even mowing and a healthy, professional finish on a variety of sports fields. This is a hands-on role that requires keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of turf maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Ride-On Mower to maintain sports turf and other outdoor areas
• Ensure mowing is done to the highest standards, keeping grass healthy and looking great
• Conduct routine equipment checks and maintain machinery in good working order
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly
• Assist with other turf management tasks such as edging, line marking, and general upkeep
• Adhere to safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

Key Requirements:

• Experience operating a range of different mowers is advantageous such as Tractor, Ride-On, Reel Mowers and Pegasus attachments
• A valid and clean Class 1 license is essential and a Class 2 driver’s (learners, restricted or full) licence would be highly beneficial
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering top-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, health and safety focused can-do attitude
