Based at the Mövenpick Hotel Hobart, this multi-hotel role forms part of our Reservations team, supporting multiple hotels across Tasmania, Melbourne and Western Australia.

Job Description

Reporting to Portfolio Reservations Manager, you are often the first point of contact for our guests who will:

  • Use the hotel systems to process and input all reservation types in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Maintain a positive selling approach to maximize yield in both occupancy and rates
  • Respond to guest calls according to hotel policy and ensure an outstanding guest experience
  • Ensure the arrivals list is checked daily to display the correct rate and market codes
  • Ensure accurate data is recorded for all reservations
  • Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is highly organised and possesses exceptional time management and communication skills. You will be responsible for delivering consistently accurate and high-quality service for our clients – every interaction, every day. 

  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Possess strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workflow and workload individually and across the team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
  • An outcome-driven approach to performance and results
  • A natural ability to build and maintain internal and external client relationships
  • Prior experience working with Opera Cloud and RESAweb is advantageous
