Three permanent Finance Business Partner roles at The Warehouse Group in Auckland offer a chance to influence strategy across Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and SSO. Two FPB positions support the brands and report to the Senior FPB, TWS, while a third Senior FPB handles property financials and CODB initiatives. You will blend commercial thinking with rigorous analysis, own budgeting and forecasting, and challenge senior leaders to make quality decisions. The team values collaboration, curiosity and mindset as much as experience. To apply, tailor your CV to show retail, supply chain or property experience, financial modelling and stakeholder influence; CA/CPA/CFA credentials and cost initiative examples help. Apply online from Northcote, with parking, EV charging, gym and staff discounts.
We are keen to talk to passionate finance business partners who love what they do, offering impactful guidance to the business. We have three permanent roles going. You will be joining a well established and highly regarded team, and working in retail we can guarantee a dynamic environment!
The Warehouse Group has become a Kiwi household name, and we proudly recognise the role that we play in communities throughout New Zealand. We are one of the largest general merchandise retailers in NZ across The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery & Noel Leeming. Efficiency and collaboration are cornerstones of our work culture, empowering us to adapt swiftly and work seamlessly together.
We currently have three Finance Business Partner opportunities. Two of these Finance Business Partner roles support our Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery brands and will be reporting into the Senior Finance Business Parters – TWS. The third Senior Finance Business Partner will sit within our Group SSO office function and will report into our Enterprise Costs and Investment Governance Lead. This role specifically will have accountability for property financials and support enterprise CODB programmes and cost initiatives. All these roles will ensure commercial thinking feeds into our strategic business decisions. You will support and influence senior business leaders in your portfolio/function with your sound commercial advice - which may involve a variety of strategic, operational, people, commercial or financial elements. Advice will derive from high quality analysis and modelling of problems and business cases, discovering options for solutions, and understanding broader strategic alignment and trade off issues.
Budgeting, forecasting and ultimately driving value will form key components of your role. You will bring objectivity and strategic acumen to business issues, whilst also being comfortable to dive into the detail when needed. You understand the value of building relationships, whilst also being an influencer, hence challenging the business to ensure the best quality decisions are made.
For these roles we see true collaborators flourish, coupled with those with curiosity and an interest to learn and adapt. So as much as we value previous skills/experience we put an equal weighting on mindset.
