We are seeking Murex Back Office Consultant (Operation) to work in a client-servicing role to drive one of our client’s global system implementations, with responsibilities:

Responsible for the utilization of the Murex Methodology/ Model in the confirmation and matching of transactions, settlements and payments.

Work directly with customers to scope, gather, review, create and implement their business / functional requirements.

Hands-on workflow (MxML) configuration in Murex to manage trade validation, confirmation and events.

Work with the Murex system and its users to test the implementation, achieve signoff (UAT), and continue to move the system toward go-live.

Support clients with the development of their own internal project plan, including the identification of key setup and configuration tasks, scope considerations, timeline and scheduling, as well as resource requirements.

Responsible for training users on basic use of the system, new functionality, etc.

Assist in system integration, data migration and implementation.
Requirements

Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably from Financial Engineering, Business Analytics or Computer Science or related discipline.

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience on workflow configuration/ development in Murex to manage trade validation, confirmation and events. Including MxML Exchange, trade flows,
OSP,
confirmation generation, Settlement instructions, Collateral Management, Reference Data Management.

Strong knowledge and functional experience on various asset classes. E.g. FX MM, IRD, EQD

Experience writing functional and business specifications with the ability to map conceptual financial and business elements to practical system capabilities.

A strong proven track record of client servicing. Understand customer needs and build effective relationships.

Strong time management skills and demonstrable problem solving/analytical skills.
