Based in Brisbane, this senior role requires travel up to three to four days per month. The ideal candidate has eight or more years in senior WHS leadership across complex multi-site operations, deep knowledge of ANZ WHS legislation, and a proven ability to influence senior leaders and embed a proactive safety culture, risk management, incident investigations and wellbeing initiatives. Key qualifications include a WHS related tertiary degree and board level reporting experience; ICAM or Return-to-Work accreditation is desirable. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring legislative compliance, robust safety systems, and a proactive safety culture across 65+ properties and more than 2,800 team members.
Based in our Brisbane Head Office, this role reports directly to the Head of People and takes full responsibility for the organisation’s WHS strategy across all hotels and corporate operations in ANZ. Working closely with Hotel General Managers, operational leaders, and senior stakeholders, you will provide expert advice, governance, and leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety performance and wellbeing outcomes across the group.
**The role includes regular travel across Australia and New Zealand, typically up to 3–4 days per month, to support hotel operations, engage leaders, and embed WHS initiatives.
