What You'll Do:

In this national role, you’ll lead broadacre crop protection product development and trial programs, working with suppliers, agronomy teams and other key stakeholders to bring new products, services and concepts into the Nutrien network. You’ll play a key role in turning research and market insights into practical resources, technical support and commercial opportunities for our teams and customers.

 

  • Manage broadacre crop protection product, service and concept development projects
  • Develop trial protocols and manage trial programs that generate quality data
  • Analyse trial results, develop conclusions and share outcomes across the Nutrien business
  • Collaborate with key suppliers on joint development programs and commercial opportunities
  • Provide technical support, advice, training and product demonstrations to our agronomy network
  • Develop technical resources and market updates to support sales agronomists and internal teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers and industry stakeholders
  • Represent Nutrien at industry meetings, conferences, seminars and grower events
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and technical developments across broadacre crop protection

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in agronomy or a related field
  • Experience in commercial agronomy and managing or conducting trials
  • Knowledge of broadacre crop protection, trial design, pesticide chemistry and farm production systems
  • Ability to interpret trial data, prepare reports and work to project timelines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to internal and external groups
  • Computer literacy, with advanced Excel, PowerPoint or statistical programs highly regarded
  • Current motor vehicle licence and willingness to travel regionally and interstate as required
  • Agsafe, Fertcare accreditation and experience operating trial equipment will be well regarded
