About the Role
The Consultant Neurologist will provide specialist neurological assessment, diagnosis, and management for patients attending the General Neurology Outpatient Clinic within a public hospital setting. The role delivers high-quality, patient-centred care through close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, supporting timely access to specialist services and coordinated clinical pathways.
• Conduct weekly General Neurology Outpatient Clinics managing a broad range of neurological conditions.
• Develop and implement individualised management plans and coordinate appropriate follow-up and referral pathways.
• Supervise and support a Neurology Advanced Trainee within the clinic (shared with other specialists).
• Contribute to service development, case discussions, and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold professional, ethical, and safety standards.
Classifications for this position will range from HN15 to HN55.
