The programme blends hands on vocational and community rehabilitation with strong development through dedicated supervision, shadowing senior clinicians, diverse settings, weekly graduate education, fortnightly learning, facilitated reflections, Clinical Advisor support, Team Leader coaching and ongoing professional development via the Learning Management System. About the programme
Te Kōtuku Rerenga Tahi is APM’s two-year New Graduate Programme. It is designed to help you build confidence, clinical reasoning and professional capability in a supportive, values-led environment.
Our graduate programme has been running since 2017 and continues to evolve based on feedback from previous graduates, clinical leaders and our wider teams.
As an APM New Graduate, you will be welcomed into a national team and supported to develop initially across Vocational Rehabilitation, with later opportunity to extend into Community Rehabilitation Services. You will work alongside experienced clinicians while building the skills, judgement and confidence to make a meaningful contribution to the people and communities we support.
