We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort while inspiring your team to deliver exceptional service that reflects our brand values.
What you’ll do
Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet brand standards
Recruit, train, and mentor housekeeping team members, fostering a culture of pride, service, and accountability
Develop and monitor cleaning schedules, workflows, and productivity benchmarks to optimize efficiency
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas, addressing issues promptly and maintaining excellence
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control of cleaning supplies, amenities, and equipment
Partner with the Engineering and Front Office teams to coordinate maintenance requests and room readiness
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including chemical handling and equipment use
Handle guest feedback and service recovery related to housekeeping with professionalism and care
Prepare departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality
Lead sustainability initiatives in housekeeping, promoting eco-friendly practices and waste reduction
Inspire the team to deliver thoughtful touches and personalized details that enhance guest experience
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in housekeeping management, ideally within a luxury or lifestyle hospitality environment
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and develop large, diverse teams
Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, products, and equipment
High attention to detail with a passion for guest satisfaction
Ability to manage budgets, inventories, and cost-control measures
Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
