Are you an experienced and motivated leader looking to make a meaningful impact in a rural community? We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Manager to lead the delivery of safe, high quality care at our Bolga Court Residential Aged Care Facility in Tallangatta.

About the opportunity

The Nurse Manager at our Bolga Court facility provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, high quality, person-centred care aligned with organisational values. The role oversees clinical services, workforce and resource management, and quality improvement, while ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. It also provides professional leadership, supports staff development, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement to achieve positive outcomes for residents and their families.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity including a monthly RDO. This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Nurse Unit Manager (NM11) currently $71.91 per hour.

About you

You are a highly experienced Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and strong clinical and leadership capability in acute or residential aged care settings. You bring advanced clinical skills, a commitment to high quality, person-centred care, and the ability to balance clinical oversight with operational responsibilities in a small rural service. You are committed to continuous improvement, evidence based practice, and effective clinical risk management.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate nursing experience with advanced clinical skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in aged care or acute settings
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in health management (or willingness to work towards)
  • Commitment to safe, high-quality care, innovation, and evidence-based practice
