Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice nurse with a specialty-based focus in cardiovascular surgery and a dedicated role in the robotic surgery program. Working in close collaboration with the cardiovascular surgeon, the NP functions as a clinical co-lead across the full patient journey, providing advanced assessment, longitudinal care coordination, patient optimization, postoperative follow-up, and program-level leadership. This role combines expert clinical practice with quality improvement, education, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration to support the growth, safety, and sustainability of a high-performing robotic cardiac surgery program.
