Job Description

We are currently seeking a Nursing Administration Officer to join our team on a full time basis. In this role you'll provide essential administrative support to the nursing team, helping to ensure a seamless experience for every patient throughout their care journey.

Your responsibilities

  • Monitor and action emails across nursing admin, fax, and consents inboxes
  • Prepare patient records for nursing interviews, including data entry and attaching results
  • Create and send consent forms and pre-health questionnaires via patient portal
  • Manage paper consent processes, including verification and scanning to database
  • Contact external providers to obtain pathology and ultrasound results and enter into patient records
  • Flag abnormal results to nursing staff
  • Follow up outstanding data from exception reports under nursing team supervision
  • Attend monthly nursing team meetings and prepare minutes
  • Coordinate domestic travel bookings for the nursing team
  • Manage database backup processes
  • Assist with other tasks as reasonably requested by the Nursing team 

Qualifications

You'll be a great fit for this role if you bring previous experience in a healthcare or medical administration setting, strong computer skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities, and a genuine passion for customer service and patient care. You'll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and will demonstrate a high level of integrity with a clear understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality.
