Job Description

Epworth Richmond Rehabilitation is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient team on a 11 month (approx.) full time, fixed-term contract until February 2027. This role presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care within a leading rehabilitation service. The successful candidate will be based at our Richmond site and will manage a mixed clinical outpatient caseload including neurology and ABI patients.

You will be involved in service development, quality improvement activities, staff supervision, student supervision, and continuing education programs.

You will be part of the Occupational Therapy team, reporting to the Deputy Manager of Occupational Therapy.

You will make an impact by:

  • Working closely with the multidisciplinary team
  • Providing clinical care based on best available evidence
  • Having well-developed organisational and planning skills
  • Being able to interact and collaborate with all members of a multidisciplinary team

To be successful in this role you:

  • Have previous experience in neurological rehabilitation (essential)
  • Are able to demonstrate accountability with a strong, supportive and engaging communication style
  • Have the ability to supervise and educate junior staff and students
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent as recognised by the World Federation of Occupational Therapy
